“I couldn’t be happier starting my teaching career here at Covington. I’m incredibly lucky to teach art to the coolest kids I’ve ever met.  They’re always down for my crazy project ideas and not afraid to throw their own spin on things.” - Ms. Reed

Ms. Reed was born and raised in Clinton, IN where she resides with her 4 parrots. She graduated from Indiana State University majoring in Graphic Design with a minor in Art History. Although she thoroughly enjoys riding trails in her rzr with friends and family and playing with the birds, Ms. Reed’s heart belongs to all things art. At Covington, she teaches Intro and Adv Studio Art and Visual Communications Classes. In the Studio Classes students learn about mediums ranging from colored pencils to paint. Some of her favorite things to teach in the Studio Classes are Watercolor, Recycle Art and Sculpture. The Visual Communication classes are primarily held in the computer lab where students learn about Basic Video Editing, Typography and Photo Manipulation. Ms. Reed’s favorite program to teach is Photoshop because she says students come up with the wildest ideas.
